C4. My thinking is that when you plug in the glowplugs relay, it creates a little extra load on the battery (though not much, as you're not energising the glowplugs), and the voltage drop is just enough for other electrics to play up/fail. As Peter suggests, voltmeter across battery.

Took that thing off (fairly easily), it was one wire on that plastic connector that goes into base, unit, that has all bulbs in it. Looked like it was melt a bit. Use some very small screwdriver and tried to clean that plastic. Then, used some WD40 (as I didnt have contact cleaner), leaved it for 15 min, then, connected all again.
