I have the following Software / Firmware for the BMW Verion 10.0 dated 12/30/16, the OBD-II Version 6.20 dated 07/17/15 and the Operating System version 9.20 dated 11/10/16 installed on the NT510 unit. PNBMWX5. I just purchased my first M3, a e92 2008. it's done 145klm - 90k miles and runs really well. it came with a full service history which I checked out with BMW.. the good oil at the right time is a must to minimize the wear. I was told most were hwy miles. p.s.
For the E46 M3 chassis in general, early models had subframe issues. A 2003 might be affected, so I would check out the subframe before committing to the car. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I know these cars like the back of my hand.
Never at all bought mine with any thoughts of investment or making money etc. I simply bought one almost 10 years ago today, as i love the shape of an E46 M3 with a hardtop. Obviously being a convertible prices will never rival a coupe, but i enjoy mine occaisonally, the miles are relatively low (65k). Its garaged all year round.
Yes, I think so. Assuming you took advantage of the insane prices in the e46 M3 market, I think you’ve done good. That said, I understand with the global shortage of microchips, there aren’t exactly bargains to be had on new cars either.. I’ve had multiple e36, e34, and e46 M cars. E34 M5 was my fave, would rather have it over another e46 M3.
