Replacement Car Jack 2011 C4 Grand Picasso VTR+ HDI HiI have a 2011 C4 Grand Picasso VTR+ HDI.I need to purchase a jack. Can anybody recommend a suitabl[more ] By hastings-c4grand On Mon Sep 03 2018, 03:22pm I have C4 Grand Picasso 2.0HDI with automatic gear. i have a problem: when i accelerate slowly i notice failures in the engine rpm (smooth rotation jumps 1700-2000), especially when turning, with the rapid acceleration no problems. I disconnected the plug on the MAF and the car drive perfect for a long time and no jamming, everything is OK.
Next step will be to replace the ABS sensor/wiring and possibly reset the system by disconnecting the battery. If problem persists I guess its car off to a Citroen franchise to confirm if its a signal problem or an ABS module / ECU problem. If a sensor problem, that would point to incorrect installation of the bearing.
Make sure that your C4 Grand Picasso is in a firm and safe place. This will be essential at the moment of using the jack to lift it without any difficulties. Place the warning devices at a prudential distance from your car so that they can reflect the lights of the incoming cars. This step is really important for safety reasons.

Basically, look for the arrow on the plastic/metal sill. This arrow points to a piece of metal BEHIND (further underneath) the car. You should see a squarish "flap" of metal jutting down slightly, that is the jacking point. Be sure to protect it from the jack's cup (I use a folded-up old t-shirt).
