Yesterday I went to a dealer in the area and test rode a 2017 KTM Superduke 1290 GT and a 2017 Ducati Multistrada 1200S. After researching the GT I fell in love with the idea of a bike that is powerful, has great handling, and would be better for touring than my Street Triple. When taking the GT for a spin I quickly confirmed it is a super So, KTM left the R pretty much unchanged for 2019. 2019 KTM 1290 Super Duke R. Duke GT Sat on it and felt at home, everything just where you wanted it to be. Nice and light when ridden, creature comfort’s and massive power that was just a little bit down on the aggression the R offers.
